Darwin became my crash course in understanding why dogs do what they do. She gave me the biggest lesson in dog reactivity and because of her unique personality, she steered me on this wonderful path in dog training.

Darwin’s the love of my life, but I can say that life with a reactive dog is not a walk in the park - literally! That’s why I want to prioritize taking a PROACTIVE approach to dog training. Let’s get informed as soon as possible, learn early signals of behaviour problems, and guide your dog onto a better path.

So for those of you who are struggling with your dog, I 100% get you! I’ve been through all these crazy stages as well (puppy madness, nipping, potty accidents, leash pulling, crate training, reactivity - the whole gamut!). I can empathize with you and all the feelings that come with it. Not only that, but I can attest to how much fun you can have whilst going through these stages of learning.

This is exactly why I started Olive Bark - because life with a dog should be fun, not frustrating! Olive trees are symbols of peace and wisdom, and that’s exactly what I bring as your dog trainer: a little more calm, a little more understanding, and a lot more tail wags. My goal is to help dogs and their humans speak the same language, so you can enjoy a happier, more relaxed life together.

To me, dogs are more than pets, they are lifelong companions with personalities, interests, and emotional depth. They understand us in ways that no one else can, and can fill our lives with endless joy, comfort, and love. When we learn their language and reciprocate those feelings, the bond we develop with them is like nothing else! 💪
